What a shocker for me! Federer has just lost to James Blake in the Olympics quarterfinals.

I really wonder where has the Federer of old gone too. The art of magical passing shoots and brillant courtplay seemed to have decidede to leave him for someone else.

After Sampras, there has not been anyone almost as complete as Federer to have graced the tennis arena. I do not really hold high hopes of seeing him go far in the US Open anymore. Next year would be a more realistic point to decide if Federer has become a spent force. Hopefully this is just a horribly bad patch for him.
